I would love to teach your student in a private/semi-private etiquette lesson! You may enroll your child alone, or join with siblings, cousins or a friend! Maximum number of students per class is 4 students. I have several options depending on what suits your needs.

Option 1: A one hour private lesson (for one-four students) in my home focusing strictly on table manners. We will discuss proper place setting, use of each utensil, proper holding and cutting techniques, courtesy to servers, and many other table manners. If a single student, price is $450 per student. Option 2: A one and a half hour private lesson in my home focusing strongly on table manners (same as above), but also focusing on the importance of first impressions, eye contact, handshakes, and self confidence when meeting new people. If a single student, price $575 per student. If more than one student, $375 per student (ages 16+, add $75). PLEASE contact Amy to discuss scheduling before purchasing this option.

Option 3: A one hour private table manners lesson at my home focusing strongly on table manners (with a few tips on first impressions, eye contact, and self confidence when meeting new people), followed by a dinner at Daniel George Restaurant or Mountain Brook Club where we can practice what we've discussed in an authentic environment. This lasts roughly 2 and a half hours. You would drop your student(s) off at my home (6 Pine Ridge Lane, 35213) and pick them up at Daniel George Restaurant in Mountain Brook Village or Mountain Brook Club afterward. If one student, price is $700 per student. If more than one student, price is $500 per student/a three course dinner is included . Option 4: Everything offered in Option 3 PLUS the student would come back the next day for a one hour lesson focusing on greeting new people, first impressions, eye contact, handshakes, self confidence and chivalrous behaviors. If one student, price is $1,000 per student. If more than one student, price is $750 per student. PLEASE contact Amy to discuss scheduling before purchasing this option.

Option 5: A family lesson in your own home. It is always beneficial when everyone in the family hears the same information together! In this lesson, Amy will come to your home and teach a 1.5 hour lesson for up to 6 people. Amy will customize a lesson based on the most important topics parents would like to see covered. It is highly encouraged for one or both parents to sit in on this lesson. PLEASE contact Amy to discuss scheduling before purchasing this option. Priced at $1750 per family.

Option 6: A customized 4 part family lesson that includes a parent component. Students will come to Amy for 3 lessons (with a focus on table manners, family manners and helpful attitudes, first impressions, eye contact, conversation skills and many more). Students will leave each lesson with assignments to implement at home. On the final lesson, parents will join and Amy will “pass the baton” of accountability to the parents. Amy has found that when parents are involved in the learning process with the children, it is easier to implement desired behaviors at home because everyone is on the same page.
