"After 20 years in the elementary school classroom, I have found a few things that cause children to stand outs amongst their peers: the qualities of kindness, compassion, respect, and good manners. It's difficult to practice etiquette if we don't integrate kindness and respect. For the past 18 years, I have taught etiquette classes for elementary students and tweens in Birmingham, Alabama. I am excited about expanding my reach to include students in other cities."
“To call Amy’s classes simply etiquette is inadequate. Yes, she teaches manners but she does so much more. Her lessons demonstrate why manners, common courtesy and good character are important. She also teaches kids that our behavior demonstrates a person’s character and what good character looks like.” -Nancy L.
